Frequently Asked Questions
Who are you?
If you want to know something about me, please check out the About Me page.
How much are your prints?
Please contact me if you are interested in a print. The prices can vary depending on print size, matting size and the quantity of prints that are being ordered. Please tell me if you have purchased from me before or were referred by someone who has, as I may be able to offer a discount.
When I order a print, what can I expect to receive?
Every print that I sell will come matted to the size you ordered and sealed in a clear plastic bag. I make each print on a Hewlett Packard Photo Printer, cut each matting by hand and mat every print to ensure it meets my quality standards. The prints are issued on HP Glossy Photo Paper and matted with Crescent Mat Board.
Once ordered, how long can I expect to wait until my print is ready?
I will attempt to prepare each order as quickly as possible. Normally, it will take less than 1 week. If I anticipate any kind of a delay, I will let you know about it.
How do I pay for my prints order?
I currently accept cash, checks and PayPal.
How do you handle delivery?
I prefer to meet you in person to ensure you are happy with the prints I am providing. If you don’t live too far away, I can always drop them off to you or you can pick them up at my home or office. If you don’t live near Clifton Heights, PA, I can ship them to you for an additional fee. Please note: The edges of mat board can be very fragile and are prone to damage. As I take every precaution when preparing prints for shipment, I can not guarantee their condition upon arrival.
Are you available for hire?
Currently, I am not available for hire.
I ordered a print from you and am not happy with it. What should I do?
By all means, do not hesitate to contact me and let me know what the problem is.
The print I received looks different than what appears on my computer screen. Why don’t the colors match?
Every computer monitor is calibrated differently. Most monitors aren’t even calibrated at all. So, what you see on your screen might be different than what I see on my screen. When I print the images, I attempt to get as close to my original photographic intentions as possible. Some images may appear lighter or darker or in a different color tone than they appear on your screen. Since I do not outsource printing, I can approve every print that I issue before it is matted. If I am not happy with the way something turns out, it will be reprinted until I am satisfied.
I have more questions or am interested in ordering a print. How can I contact you?
Please send me a message on the Contact Me portion of the site. I will reply to you as soon as I have the chance.
